CPTSD Customer Service was created with a simple idea: What if we could better understand our survival mechanisms by calling customer service to complain about them?
Through comedy, relatable experiences, and fictional customer service calls, the series explores the symptoms and survival adaptations associated with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD)—how they develop, why they exist, and why they aren't always easy to change.
Because sometimes, understanding something difficult becomes a little easier when we can laugh about how absurd it feels.
The goal isn't to make light of trauma. It's to make conversations about its impact more accessible, relatable, and human.

Complex Dani is a CPTSD survivor, creator, and advocate known for bringing honest, relatable, and sometimes unapologetically humorous conversations about complex trauma into the open.
As the founder of Healing & CPTSD Community and The Healing and CPTSD Foundation, Danielle has dedicated her work to helping survivors feel less alone, increasing public understanding of CPTSD, and advocating for greater recognition and change.
Through CPTSD Customer Service, she brings her lived experience, creativity, and sense of humor together to explore the survival mechanisms so many people recognize—but don't always understand.
Because sometimes the best way to start a difficult conversation is with a little humor—and a very questionable customer service department.
